Moving a data center server room requires seamless coordination of transportation, labor and on-site management – all while taking precautions to protect each piece of equipment. As Glimcher Properties recently discovered, Herlihy Moving & Storage is up to the challenge.
We relocated parts of Glimcher’s IT server room as part of an off-site data center redundancy project. This required moving their blade servers, network switches, server cabinets, cables and other equipment using proper protocols for anti-static, anti-vibration and anti-dust.
To reduce any impact on Glimcher’s operations, the move took place after business hours. Everything was completed on-time and on-budget.
