After several years of involvement with Susan G. Komen® Columbus, we’re excited to be part of the first Race for the Cure® Athens, which will take place Sunday, October 25 on the campus of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Sponsors hope to raise $50,000 at this inaugural event.
“Herlihy Moving & Storage has been a longtime supporter of Komen Columbus, and their vehicle donation will greatly help our efforts for our new race in Athens, Ohio,” said Becca Thomas, Director of Events for Komen Columbus. “We really appreciate their support and are proud to have such great community partners.”
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series is the world’s largest education and fundraising event for breast cancer. The event raises funds and awareness for the breast cancer movement, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.
